The main problem that illegal immigrants face is that they do not have the rights as American citizens. When illegal immigrants are looking for a job, they do not have a permit or any papers saying they can work in the U.S. When you do not have papers you do not get paid well. Sometimes these illegal immigrants get paid with fake checks or get paid less than what was promised to them. When this happens, they cannot report it to the police so they lose money. They also cannot report it to the police because they might tell immigration and they might deport you. Also many illegal immigrants don’t know any English so they might not be able to communicate with other people who need workers and don't speak Spanish. If you are an immigrant that doesn’t speak English, other people might discriminate against you for your language or treat you badly.
