There are many solutions for a child who is a U.S. citizen whose parents get deported. Mostly, it is the parents' decision if the child should stay with a family member or friend of the family that is legal in the U.S. The child can also be taken to a foster home if they don’t have any other family or their parents choose too. Also, children can be put in the custody of a social worker so that they could get a new home. Many things can happen to a child whose parents get deported, but in the end, it is still not the child's choice.
