I am from Washington D.C. where I went to Kelly Miller Middle School. There are lots of differences between Kelly Miller and the school that I attend now. The name of the school that I attend now is called Cesar Chavez Public Charter School for Public Policy. Cesar Chavez has lots of odd rules that Kelly Miller does not have such as the demerit system. Also another thing that Kelly Miller did not have is detention. Last but not least, Kelly Miller is a public school and Cesar Chavez is a charter school.

      Since I have been in Cesar Chavez, I have been failing a lot. Although I have never got an F on my report card before, I guess the time has come. This problem did not go so well with my family. I got myself into a lot of trouble because of my grades like punishments, no computer, no outdoors, and just no type of fun. I really miss my fun days and I am going to try and do my best not to fail.

    Some difficulties that I have faced were thinking that I am going to fail no matter what. I am going to overcome this situation by studying as much as I possibly can. I have learned was  that I have to keep studying to get what I want and to get off of punishment.
